Corrections and new places

Use this form for a chess club, regular evening or recurring tournament in Oslo or Akershus that the directory lacks, or for a card that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches, club boards and venue staff are all welcome to write.

What helps most is a link: the club's page, a calendar entry or a dated post. Messages are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and every change that follows is dated in the edit notes.

What is it about?
For a new place: what chess happens there and on which day. For a mistake: which part of the card is wrong.
A link to a web page, a calendar entry or a post that shows it.
So that the message comes from someone; it is never shown on the site.
A phone number or a messaging account, if you prefer not to give an email.

Leave at least one way to reach you. It stays private and is used only if a reply is needed.

After you send it

  • Your message waits with the others until the directory is next revised.
  • It is then checked against the club's or organiser's own pages; where they confirm it, the card is updated and the date goes into the edit notes.
  • Where no page supports it, the card stays as it is and keeps any unconfirmed wording it already had.
  • You get a reply only if you ask for one and leave a contact.
